Become Allies in Sexual Trauma Recovery & Prevention

Our faith communities and religious & spiritual leaders are staples in every community. Within our faith we find safety, refuge and healing from some of life’s biggest challenges, including and especially sexual trauma. Unfortunately, many of our leaders in our faith communities are not aware of the dynamics and impacts of sexual trauma within and outside of the faith community. Often times survivors’ experiences and pain are dismissed, minimized or exacerbated as a result of the lack of proper training and best practices. But I know that YOU are committed to becoming the best ally in recovery and prevention that you can be!

This is about to change. The change begins with you!

Our faith communities have an enormous opportunity and responsibility to break the status-quo and create a ripple effect so great that the preservation of the cycle of abuse doesn’t stand a chance! By receiving high-quality training in sexual trauma impacts, recovery and prevention, AND by implementing appropriate policies and practices your church will become a beacon of hope, security and restoration.
